These terms govern your use of StudyRoar. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
StudyRoar creates source-backed flashcards and schedules study reviews. It is an educational tool, not medical, legal, clinical, or professional advice. We do not guarantee accuracy, recall, exam results, diagnosis, or treatment outcomes.
You must provide accurate information, protect access to your device and account, and notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You retain your rights in material you upload. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process, and transmit that material to the disclosed service providers solely to operate StudyRoar. You must have permission to upload the material and must not upload patient-identifiable, confidential, unlawful, or infringing content.
AI-generated cards may be incomplete or incorrect. Verify every card against its displayed source before relying on it. You are responsible for how you use generated content.
Do not misuse the service, evade quotas, interfere with security, reverse engineer protected systems, upload malware, violate another person's rights, or use StudyRoar for unlawful purposes.
Premium subscriptions are offered weekly, monthly, and annually through Apple In-App Purchase, renew automatically unless cancelled, and have no free trial. Prices and billing periods are shown by Apple before purchase. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account. Refunds for Apple In-App Purchases are handled by Apple; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com or through your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting StudyRoar does not cancel Apple billing. Restore Purchases is available in the app.
We may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. Generation can be delayed or fail because it depends on network and third-party services. Where applicable, failed eligible generations are refunded to the in-app quota.
You may stop using StudyRoar and delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, abuse, security threats, or legal requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudyRoar is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free generated content. Consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service or reliance on generated content. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
If you downloaded StudyRoar from the Apple App Store, this section applies in addition to the rest of these terms. This agreement is between you and StudyRoar only, not Apple, and Apple has no responsibility for the app or its content. Your license is limited to a non-transferable right to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's usage rules. StudyRoar, not Apple, is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple's only obligation is to refund the purchase price to you; Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, or damages are StudyRoar's responsibility. StudyRoar, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and claims that the app infringes a third party's intellectual property rights. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government restricted-party list. See the Contact section below for questions or complaints about the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
We may update these terms to reflect service, legal, or operational changes. Continued use after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
